E-Commerce Platform Rebuild
Rebuilt an ageing retail e-commerce platform using a modern headless architecture, improving performance, mobile experience, and developer velocity.
Background
An established retail business was running an ageing e-commerce platform that struggled with performance under peak traffic and required significant developer effort to maintain. The codebase was difficult to iterate on and the customer experience on mobile was poor.
Scope of Work
Full re-architecture of the frontend using Next.js and TypeScript. Migrated from a legacy system to a modern headless commerce architecture. Implemented performance optimisations, improved mobile responsiveness, and modernised the build and deployment pipeline.
